Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Salary: £23 - £27k per Annum
Location: SEN Teaching Assistant
Hours: 40 hours per week - Term Time only - Start time 8.15am -3:30pm
Join our dynamic team in Crawley as a SEMH Teaching Assistant. Your role will involve supporting classroom activities, helping students with special educational needs, and assisting with administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and provide feedback on pupil behaviour, relationships, and attitudes.

Encourage positive conduct and concentration, responding effectively to behavioural changes.

Develop positive rapport with pupils to foster a secure and engaging learning environment.

Support independence and personal growth while maintaining high standards of behaviour.

Deliver and adapt learning activities under teacher guidance, reinforcing key concepts.

Organise and provide resources to support lesson objectives.

Facilitate inclusive learning experiences that promote achievement across all curriculum areas.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A patient, caring and positive attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one
- Previous experience working with children in a school setting
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children is desirable
