What skills and experience we're looking for
The Directors of Emmaus Catholic Multi Academy Company, together with the Archdiocese of Birmingham, are looking to appoint an ambitious, experienced and suitably qualified practising Catholic leader to the exciting role of Vice Principal at Hagley Catholic High School. Hagley is a very successful, inclusive and oversubscribed secondary school, rated Good in its most recent Ofsted and Catholic School inspections and which was recently ranked in the top 10 comprehensive schools in the West Midlands in the Sunday Times. Actual roles and responsibilities will be determined on appointment, although we are ideally looking for someone with the expertise and vision to lead teaching and learning across the school. The successful candidate must be able to teach and lead in a secondary setting, desirably with experience at Assistant Principal level or higher. This role includes a teaching commitment in line with the successful candidate’s subject specialism(s) in one or more of Key Stages 3, 4 or 5, in accordance with the needs of the school.
