About the Role
Oasis House Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Service Manager to lead a supported accommodation service for young people aged 16–17.
The service aims to provide a safe, supportive environment that promotes independence and positive outcomes for young people preparing for adulthood. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the service operates in full compliance with the Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023 and associated standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the supported accommodation service
• Ensure compliance with the Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023 and Ofsted requirements
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of young people at all times
• Develop, implement and review support plans, risk assessments and placement plans
• Supervise, support and develop staff, including recruitment, induction and performance management
• Ensure effective safeguarding procedures are followed, including responding to and reporting incidents appropriately
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation meets regulatory standards
• Build and maintain positive relationships with local authorities, placing authorities and partner agencies
• Monitor and improve service quality through audits, feedback and continuous improvement processes
• Contribute to the development and review of policies, procedures and the Statement of Purpose

Essential Requirements
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in children’s social care, supported accommodation or a related field
• Experience working with looked-after children or care leavers
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and risk management
• Understanding of the Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023
• Experience in managing or supervising staff
• Ability to demonstrate leadership, decision-making and organisational skills
• Ability to meet Ofsted’s “fit person” requirements

Desirable Qualifications and Experience
• Level 3 or Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
• Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager
• Experience working in an Ofsted-regulated environment
• Knowledge of leaving care frameworks and pathway planning
