Your new company
You will be joining a growing, forward‑thinking accountancy practice with an excellent reputation for advising entrepreneurial and owner‑managed businesses. The firm prides itself on delivering high‑quality tax solutions and building long‑term relationships across a diverse client base. Due to continued growth within the Liverpool office, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to take on a key role within the team.
Your new roleIn this role
You will manage your own portfolio of corporate clients, providing both compliance oversight and advisory support. You will take the lead on delivering high‑quality Corporation Tax compliance, reviewing work prepared by junior team members, and ensuring deadlines are met. A significant part of the role will involve advising OMB clients, and you will be encouraged to build strong, trusted relationships with business owners and finance leaders. You will also play a key role in mentoring and developing the team, contributing to the continued growth of the Liverpool tax function.
What you'll need to succeedIdeally
You will be CTA‑qualified, although ACA‑qualified candidates or those with an ACCA/CTA combination will also be considered. You must have at least two years' post‑qualification experience, strong corporate tax compliance knowledge, and proven experience managing your own portfolio. OMB advisory exposure is highly desirable, and the ability to manage client relationships confidently is essential.
What you'll get in return
A competitive salary of up to £75,000 is available for an experienced Manager, and the firm is also open to considering strong Assistant Managers ready to step up. You will join a collaborative, supportive environment with clear progression opportunities, exposure to high‑quality advisory work, and the chance to develop your technical expertise further. The firm offers an impressive benefits package, including 26 days holiday + your birthday off, an enhanced pension scheme, flexible hours, hybrid working and extended time abroad perk.
