We are seeking an exceptional and forwardthinking Strategic Director of Adult Social Care and Health to lead our vision for outstanding adult social care and public health services, to champion independence, dignity, and wellbeing for residents and to be a key system leader within local health and social care partnerships.
This is a pivotal leadership role at the heart of our organisation. You will shape strategic direction, drive innovation, and ensure that our services are compassionate, sustainable, and responsive to the diverse needs of our communities. Working closely with elected members, partners, providers and our dedicated workforce, you will help us deliver integrated, personcentred services that make a meaningful difference every day.

- Adult social care, safeguarding, commissioning, and community services
- Population Health services that promote and support health improvements
- Transformation programmes that improve outcomes and deliver value for money
- Strong partnerships with health partners, voluntary and community organisations
- A culture of high performance, learning, and continuous improvement

- A proven track record of senior leadership in adult social care, public health or a related field
- Deep understanding of statutory responsibilities, regulatory frameworks, and sector challenges
- The confidence to lead complex change with clarity, empathy, and ambition
- A commitment to coproduction, inclusion, and empowering people to live fulfilling lives
- The ability to inspire teams and build trusted relationships across systems
