ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Supported Living Manager to oversee two services supporting individuals with learning disabilities.

You will be responsible for managing two supported living services (Service 1 and Service 2), supporting a total of 6 individuals aged between 19 and 61. The individuals are at varying levels of independence, with some requiring minimal support and others benefiting from regular prompting to maintain daily living skills. A key focus of this role is to promote independence while respecting each individuals preference for autonomy.

The services are relatively low in complexity, with basic medication requirements. Support is centred around encouragement rather than task completion, as individuals prefer to remain as independent as possible.

Service 1 benefits from a more flexible structure, while Service 2 thrives on routine and consistency. The successful candidate will be confident in adapting management approaches to suit both environments.

This role is primarily Monday to Friday, 9:00am 5:00pm, with a requirement to provide cover for shifts where necessary. Sleep-in responsibilities form part of the service provision:

Sleep-ins across both services run Monday to Sunday

o Service 1: 22:00 06:30 (Monday to Friday) and 22:00 07:00 (weekends)
o Service 2: 22:00 07:00

This is a 12-MONTH FIXED-TERM CONTRACT to cover maternity leave. We are looking for a proactive and person-centred leader who can support teams to deliver high-quality care while empowering individuals to live as independently as possible.
