Grade UE05: £29,588 - £33,951 per annum (plus 15% Premium Band on top for flexible working that makes the total annual salary ranging from £34,026 to £39,043)
Work pattern: variable shifts, mostly 4-day week work pattern consisting of dayshift, backshift and occasional weekends

We are looking for a highly motivated AV/IT Technician to work in our Service Team, providing specialist technical support to a community of over 40,000 staff and students.
The Opportunity:
You will help us provide technical expertise in range of audio-visual and IT solutions for: teaching spaces, events and conferences, meeting rooms, equipment loans, open access study and digital signage. If you are an experienced “all-round” technician who has skills and experience in audio-visual equipment and computer hardware we would love to hear from you.
Your skills and attributes for success:
Proven experience and technical knowledge of a wide range of audio-visual / IT equipment and systems.
An ability to maintain, service, fault diagnose, test and repair to at least mid-level, AV and IT related equipment and ability to provide advice and guidance to end users.
Excellent written and verbal skills, with an ability to communicate with people at all levels.
Ability to work co-operatively within a team to contribute to effective service delivery, with a flexible approach and on your own initiative.
