The Role
You will work with patients recovering from surgery, managing chronic mobility conditions, and improving performance and quality of life through tailored rehabilitation programmes. The role offers exposure to a diverse caseload including orthopaedic recovery, neurological conditions, arthritis management and sporting dog conditioning.
This is a hands-on clinical position within a purpose-built rehabilitation facility equipped with modern technology and dedicated therapy areas.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver canine physiotherapy and hydrotherapy treatment plans

Operate underwater treadmill and rehabilitation equipment

Provide laser therapy treatments for pain management and recovery

Support post-operative rehabilitation programmes
-
Manage chronic mobility and neurological cases
-
Educate owners on home exercise and recovery plans
-
Maintain accurate clinical records and patient progress tracking
Caseload & Clinical Work
You will work with dogs requiring:

Post-operative rehabilitation (orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery)

Arthritis and chronic pain management
-
Neurological rehabilitation including IVDD and mobility disorders
-
Injury recovery and musculoskeletal rehabilitation
-
Weight management and conditioning programmes
-
Performance enhancement for working and sporting dogs
Hydrotherapy provides low-impact exercise improving strength, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility and mobility, while laser therapy supports healing, pain reduction and tissue recovery.
