Job Responsibilities

  • Operate large-scale industrial machinery in accordance with defined instructions and operating procedures.
  • Follow production schedules diligently, working effectively within a small team or crew.
  • Set up machines, load raw materials, and manually operate equipment to produce adhesive-coated tapes.
  • Unload finished products from machines, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Work from written or verbal instructions, applying judgement and selectivity as needed.
  • Monitor and control product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Utilise basic data entry skills and computer proficiency for operational documentation.
  • Operate forklift trucks (FLT) safely, with a valid licence, to handle raw materials and finished goods.
  • Contribute to a fast-paced, quality-focused manufacturing environment, demonstrating reliability and excellent timekeeping.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience operating production machinery in a manufacturing setting, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid forklift truck (FLT) licence.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Reliable timekeeping and a proactive approach to safety.
  • Basic computer skills and data entry proficiency.
  • Flexibility to work on a rotating 8-hour shift pattern, including days and evenings, Monday to Friday.
