***HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER WANTED***
Here at The Best Connection, we are looking for an experienced class 2 driver to join our team based in central Southampton. This role is ongoing with the potential to go full time with a contract.
Salary - £17.00 per hour
Location - Southampton
Shift Patterns - Tuesday to Friday
Working Hours - 03:00am-11:00am
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Driving a HGV refrigerated class 2 vehicle
- Delivering meat and refrigerated products to different butchers around Southampton and Portsmouth
- Vehicle checks before and after each shift
- Informing the driving manager of any issues or delays on the road
- Working Tues to Fri every week with longer weekend
- Pre-loaded vehicle all ready to deliver
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS:
- Full UK clean class 2 licence
- CPC & Digi card required
- Must have Class 2 experience (ideally refrigerated)
- On-site parking
- Ongoing work
- Potential to go full time

This role is a class 2 role. Driving a 18 ton or 7.2 refrigerated vehicle delivering meat products to different butchers around the local area e.g. Southampton and Portsmouth. It's a 3am start.
All drivers need to report to Bob on arrival. He will go through all the paperwork and everything the driver will need to do throughout the day.
It's all palletised deliveries with pump truck and tail lift.
If we get a driver ongoing, They will need to use E-Pod which will track each delivery.
Pay is £17.00 per hour with 8 hr min
