SEND Administrator is required 20 hours per week between 8.15am-4.15pm Monday to Friday (working times negotiable), term time only plus 5 days.This is a vital role to support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We are looking for a dedicated SEND Administrator to join our team. You will be the backbone of our SEND department, ensuring that every child with additional needs has the documented support they require to flourish.In this role, you aren’t just filing papers; you are managing the vital communication between teachers, parents, and external specialists that ensures no child falls through the cracks.Key ResponsibilitiesEHCP Coordination: Managing the administration of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and coordinating annual reviews.Communication Hub: Acting as the first point of contact for parents, carers, and external agencies (Educational Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, etc.).Data Management: Maintaining accurate records on the school’s MIS (e.g., Arbor) and ensuring 100% compliance with GDPR.Meeting Support: Scheduling complex multi-agency meetings, preparing agendas, and taking precise minutes.Funding & Records: Assisting the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) with funding applications and monitoring the SEND budget.To be successful in this role, you will need:Exceptional Organisation: The ability to juggle tight statutory deadlines without breaking a sweat.Discretion: Experience handling highly sensitive, confidential information with care.Communication Skills: A calm, empathetic telephone manner and the ability to write clear, professional letters.Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Goole Docs and experience with school management systems is a plus.A Passion for Inclusion: A genuine desire to support the outcomes of children and young people with SEND.The hourly rate will start at £13.69 per hour based on MNSP Grade 4 SCP 7-10 Pay Spine (£26,403-£27,694). The actual salary equates to £12,262 - £12,861 gross per annum.
