School Catering Manager- term time only Salary: Grade 5/6 Scale Point 11 – 20 (£32,070 - £36,585 FTE) pro rata for 25 hours per week Pay award pending. Hours: 8:15am to 2pm term time - 25 hours per weekWe are pleased to invite applications for the position of School Catering Manager here at Robin Hood Junior School. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a busy, child-centred school Kitchen – delivering a warm welcome and a high quality catering service that meets Schools Food and Meals Standards for the service, quality and presentation, in line with legislation and financial targets. You will be part of a supportive and ambitious team who are committed to helping every child reach their full potential.
We are looking for someone who:
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Brings energy, commitment and creativity
• Has proven catering experience, including running a kitchen and supervising staff
• Holds a Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate
• Hold a current Allergens Certificate
• Understands food safety, hygiene and health & Safety legislation
• Can manage stock, ordering and financial controls
