A Vacancy at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. The Pharmacy department is responsible for the delivery of a range of pharmacy services to the neurology, neurosurgery, and adult metabolic services. You will be part of the clinical pharmacy team providing frontline services to in- and outpatients attending the hospital you will rotate though Neurology and Neurosurgery specialities including stroke, epilepsy, neuropsychiatry and neurorehabilitation
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a pioneering hospital which is expanding and developing new areas in research, service development and education.


The pharmacy team is well integrated into clinical practice and works closely with doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, and other ward staff to provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy support for inpatients and outpatients.

As part of the Queen Square clinical pharmacist team, you will be covering general Neurology, Neurosurgery and Stroke daily. You will be working in, and contributing to, multidisciplinary patient care at all levels covering ward and dispensary activities. You will support junior pharmacists and trainee pharmacists and act as a role model
You will participate in audit and project work, developing key skills as you progress.

Essential Requirements:
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent customer care
• Motivated and able to motivate others
• Able to work as part of a team and independently
• Good Timekeeping and prioritisation skills

Previous experience in neurology is not essential but desirable.
