Crynodeb
The post is full-time education delivery with no clinical or on-call commitment, although there is opportunity to undertake locum on-calls within the Trust and to undertake clinical sessions to maintain clinical skills. The post holder will deliver teaching mainly in small group tutorials, although there is opportunity to take part in large group teaching. The teaching is interactive and includes simulation training, communication skills workshops and facilitating theatre and film club. The post holder will undertake a post graduate certificate/diploma or similar in medical education. In addition, they will receive training in writing assessments, assessment feedback, developing simulation and other new and innovative ways of teaching which are available and supported by the Teaching Academy and the wider Trust.
