We have a strong MDT presence and as a team have an abundance of energy and expertise whilst we work in collaboration both as a team and with our colleagues from neighbouring services and service users. This post is for an Activities Coordinator, based on the ward. To provide and co-ordinate meaningful group and activity sessions for service users. To develop activities with individuals and support people to use these. To offer group-based sessions with a focus on skill development/social inclusion/communication/education and recovery. To work alongside the nursing team. As an integral and highly valued member of the multi-disciplinary team, the Activities Co-ordinator will provide support and practical assistance toservice users for them to regain confidence in their skills and abilities to enable a successful re integration into the community. The Activities Co-ordinator will inspire hope and belief that recovery is possible in others. Within a relationship of mutuality, facilitate and supportinformation sharing to promote choice, self-determination and opportunities for the fulfilment of socially valued roles and connection to localcommunities. The Activities Co-ordinator will promote their role within the ward as being an integral part of the Recovery pathway.
