Hours: Part Time – 20 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 2.30pm to 6.30pm

ROLE OVERVIEW
The Cleaning Operative is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised manufacturing environment. The role involves cleaning production areas, offices, and communal spaces, with a strong focus on dust control, waste management, and general housekeeping standards.
This role suits someone reliable, practical, and comfortable working in an industrial setting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Cleaning production areas, offices, and communal spaces
Controlling dust and maintaining high housekeeping standards
Emptying bins and managing waste and recycling
Keeping floors, walkways, and access routes clean and clear
Using cleaning equipment correctly and reporting any issues
Reporting hazards or concerns to the line manager
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Reliable and punctual with good attention to detail
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable with manual tasks which are physically demanding
Awareness of cleanliness and safety in a working environment
