We are recruiting for an experienced Streetworks Coordinator to join our team in Hayes. This is a developmental role offering excellent long-term career progression within a growing and dynamic organisation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the permitting and planning of bus shelter installation works across the London highway network. You will act as a key liaison between site operations and highway authorities, ensuring all permits are arranged accurately and in a timely manner.
This role requires hands-on experience using the Street Manager system, with a strong focus on arranging permits for minor works.
Working closely with Transport for London (TfL) and local boroughs, you will support the delivery of essential infrastructure projects while developing specialist knowledge in bus stop and shelter installations.

Salary: £34,000 – £40,000 depending on experience
Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm (8-hour day)

Key Responsibilities for a Streetworks Coordinator
Permitting and Compliance
Manage the full permitting lifecycle using the Street Manager system
Arrange and submit permits for minor works across the TfL Road Network and local boroughs
Ensure all works comply with the New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) and Traffic Management Act (TMA)
Monitor and resolve NRSWA inspections and defects
Planning and Coordination
Process and manage work orders using internal asset management systems, including IBM Maximo
Track and update the progress of live works
Support installation teams with planning and scheduling activities
Assist in preparing Traffic Management Plans in line with Chapter 8 guidelines
Coordinate bus stop and parking suspension applications
Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a key point of contact for TfL and local authorities
Liaise with internal teams, including installation and design, to ensure smooth project delivery
Requirements
Proven experience in a Streetworks or permitting role
Strong working knowledge of the Street Manager system (essential)
Experience arranging permits for minor works
Good understanding of NRSWA, Traffic Management Act (TMA), and inspection requirements
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented approach
Commitment to health and safety standards
Qualifications and Experience required for a Streetworks Coordinator
Experience coordinating streetworks within busy urban environments
Familiarity with works management systems such as IBM Maximo (desirable)
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
