Contract Type: Temporary (6 months, with potential for extension)

Hours: 42.5 hours per week
Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour (PAYE)

Role Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organised Damp, Mould & Repairs Planner to join their team on a temporary basis. This role is critical in ensuring the effective coordination and scheduling of maintenance and repair works, with a particular focus on damp and mould cases within social housing properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate repair and maintenance works, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

  • Manage and prioritise damp and mould cases, ensuring timely response and resolution in line with service standards.

  • Liaise with tenants, contractors, and internal teams to arrange appointments and provide updates.

  • Monitor job progress, ensuring works are completed within agreed timeframes and to required quality standards.

  • Maintain accurate records and update internal systems with job status, notes, and outcomes.

  • Handle incoming repair requests and queries, providing excellent customer service at all times.

  • Work closely with surveyors and operational teams to ensure effective diagnosis and resolution of issues.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant housing regulations, policies, and health & safety standards.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in planning/scheduling within a repairs or maintenance environment.

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience dealing with damp and mould cases.

  • Previous experience working within the social housing sector is essential.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a high-volume workload.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficient in using scheduling systems and Microsoft Office applications.
