Are you an experienced SEN practitioner with a passion for nurturing pupils who thrive in bespoke, highly personalised learning environments? Hays Education is working in partnership with a warm, inclusive mainstream primary school seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to lead a small specialist provision of seven pupils across mixed ages.

Your new role
You will be responsible for teaching and supporting a small group of pupils with diverse learning profiles. The provision operates as a self-contained class, allowing you to deliver highly individualised learning experiences that meet each child's developmental stage.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
- Creating a calm, structured and supportive learning environment
- Working closely with support staff, SENCO and external agencies
- Using assessment to inform personalised learning pathways
- Building strong relationships with pupils and families
What you'll need to succeed
- EYFS experience - this is crucial due to the developmental needs of several pupils
- Strong understanding of SEND, particularly in relation to communication, sensory and social needs
- Ability to adapt teaching creatively for mixed-age, mixed-ability learners
- A nurturing, patient and resilient approach
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
