Your new company
We are looking for adaptable and dedicated Supply Teachers to support a range of primary schools in Wigan and the surrounding area. This flexible role involves covering classes across KS1 and KS2, including planned absences, emergency cover, and same-day requests. This allows you to have flexible working and choose the days that suit you and the opportunity to be re-booked in schools you enjoy working in.
Your new role
As a Supply Teacher, you will be expected to:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across the primary curriculum
- Ensure all required work is completed during the school day
- Provide clear feedback to the class teacher upon their return
- Adapt lessons where necessary to meet the needs of all pupils.
- Maintain positive behaviour and a well-managed classroom environment
What you'll need to succeed
- Hold QTS and experience teaching across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
- Be confident managing different classrooms and adapting to various school settings.
- Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Have excellent behaviour management skills and a calm, supportive approach.
- Be punctual, professional and reliable
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Enjoy working flexibly and embracing new challenges
