Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch is seeking a Bar Manager for The Signature Bar to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hospitality leader to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.

Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants - Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud - bringing together two of the world’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

What will I be doing?

As a Bar Manager, you will lead the bar operation with refined precision, delivering a consistently exceptional and ever‑elevating beverage service that enhances the guest experience while upholding all licensing requirements. You will be responsible for performing the following duties to the highest Waldorf Astoria standards:

· Lead all bar operations for the assigned venue, ensuring an exceptional and flawlessly executed service

· Co‑create and launch an innovative beverage program and service standards positioned to rank among the finest in London and globally

· Design and deliver a world‑class menu of alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages with creativity and precision

· Exceed guest expectations by providing world class personalised service and unique guest experiences

· Respond proactively to guest queries in a timely, gracious manner

· Evaluate guest satisfaction and drive improvement initiatives

· Recruit, manage, mentor, empower, train and develop the restaurant’s Food and Beverage team, fostering a high-performance culture rooted in accountability and excellence

· Advance team capability through cross‑training and tailored development plans, supported by annual and mid‑year reviews that drive engagement and growth

· Lead regular communication meetings and ensure all follow‑up actions are fully documented and completed

· Support other departments when needed, maintaining strong and collaborative hotel relationships

· Ensure compliance of brand standards and Forbes service standards

· Collaborate with senior members of the F&B team on menu development

· Ensure all allergies and dietary requirements are expertly accommodated without compromising the luxury dining experience

· Drive revenue by cultivating guest loyalty through refined, world‑class beverage experiences

· Define targets, manage schedules, and deliver accurate revenue forecasts to meet monthly F&B profit margins

· Work with F&B Cost Control to conduct regular audits, improve inventory management and reduce wastage

· Work within budgeted guidelines related to food, beverage, payroll, and overall cost controls

· Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation

· Maximise Key Performance Indicators, including Guest Satisfaction, Revenue Per Available Seat Hour, average spend per guest, labour turnover, Environmental Social Governance and F&B cost of goods sold

What are we looking for?

· Strong commercial and strategic acumen, consistently achieving and surpassing financial targets while preserving the integrity of the luxury guest journey

· Expert knowledge and flawless execution of all applicable Food & Beverage brand standards, with an unwavering commitment to quality, detail, and consistency

· Sophisticated leadership presence, with the ability to inspire, empower, and guide a diverse team to deliver intuitive, anticipatory, and personalised service

· Technical skills such as profound Knowledge of beverage recipes, mixology, and point-of-sale systems

· Advanced technical proficiency, including expert‑level understanding of beverage craftsmanship, mixology, cellar management, and point‑of‑sale platforms

· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating poise, emotional intelligence, and a solutions‑focused mindset in every guest and team interaction

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

· Diploma or degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field preferred

· A refined background in luxury hospitality, with 3–5 years’ experience in a comparable leadership role within five‑star hotels, upscale dining, or private members’ clubs
