£30 per hour, weekly pay via PAYE

The Education Network, Warrington is Cheshire’s leading provider of 1–1 Tutors for students not accessing full-time education. We work with mainstream, SEN schools, plus 7 borough councils , with growing demand across Chester and/or Ellesmere Port.
Our vision is to provide a holistic approach to the learning needs of students who are having difficulties in the classroom or attending school. Our specialist Tutors work tirelessly to engage students, some with mild to complex SEMH/SEN. Our aim is to help students overcome barriers to learning and piece together their future goals & aspirations
Your role would be delivering 1–1 sessions across core subjects (Experience in Maths, English or Science can be considered) during the school day in settings such as schools, libraries, children’s centres, or students’ homes (full risk assessment completed if 1-1 in the home) sessions typically last 1–2 hours per student, with flexible hours to suit your available days/times - we are looking for at least 2 -3 days/10 hrs per week availability for any new applicant.
You will support young people with mild to moderate learning difficulties and/or SEMH needs. Many students are disengaged from education and may present challenging behaviour. Tutors have experience in a similar role & must be extremely patient, empathetic, and confident in rebuilding engagement and rapport with students.
