Crynodeb
The post-holder will share responsibility with consultant colleagues to: Provide a service to designated hospitals, ensuring the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of illness while promoting health. Maintain ongoing responsibility for patient care in collaboration with consultant colleagues and ensure departmental efficiency in line with the Operational Policy and Strategic Plan. Clinically supervise and train junior surgical staff while on service. Engage in clinical governance, audit, research, and education within paediatrics. Share educational supervision, mentorship, and induction of residents. The job plan (illustrative in the attachment) includes clinics, attending weeks, and on-calls at St Marys and outpatient activities at Hammersmith. A final job plan will be agreed upon appointment.
