As a Leisure Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our members and customers. From lifeguarding our pools to maintaining cleanliness standards and assisting with equipment setup, you'll deliver exceptional customer service every day!
We have a variety of shifts available, working on a 3 week rota pattern. Please state clearly on your application which shifts you are available to work.
Week 1
Monday - 0530-1400
Tuesday - 0545-1400
Wednesday - 0545-1400 and 0900-1700
Thursday - 0900-1700 and 1330-2115
Friday - 0545-1400 and 1330-2115
Saturday - 0615-1530
Sunday - 0730-1200 and 1200-1800
Week 2
Monday - 0530-1330
Tuesday - 0530-1430
Wednesday - 1230-2100, 1400-2130, 0900-1700
Thursday - 0530-1330 and 0900-1700
Saturday - 0615-1530, 0645-1400
Sunday - 0730-1200 and 1200-1800
Week 3
Monday - 0545-1345
Tuesday - 0530-1400 and 0545-1415
Wednesday - 0545-1330 and 1330-2130
Thursday - 0545-1400 and 1000-1800
Friday - 0530-1230 and 1230-1800
Saturday - 0615-1530
Sunday - 0715-1200 and 1200-1800

Key Responsibilities:
• Lifeguarding duties, including monitoring pool safety and responding to emergencies.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.
• Assisting with equipment setup and breakdown for various activities.
• Providing excellent customer service to enhance the overall experience for our guests.
Requirements:
• Responsible individual with a passion for working in leisure, health, and well-being.
• Prior experience is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.
• Strong commitment to safety and the well-being of others.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
• National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is required.
Candidates without an NPLQ will have the opportunity to undergo full training after a successful swim test and interview.
