We are looking for a supportive and caring PA who can help provide support to an individual in Glossop. The support required would include helping an individual accessing the community while also supporting the individual in the home to help encourage some independence help gain confidence.
The PA would be responsible for helping the individual be more independent and help the individual become more sociable. This would include encouraging the individual to access public transport this could be showing them how to get a bus or a train.
The PA would also help the individual access the community this would be encouraging the individual to leave the local area and explore different areas but take part in community groups outside of Glossop.
The role will also have aspects that involve some support in the home this can be encouraging the individual to do their washing and encouraging and supporting them to make food.
