Mechanical Project Manager
Location: Cambridge
Salary: Up to £85,000 + comprehensive package

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a leading building services contractor on a major commercial development in Cambridge.

This role sits within a well-structured project environment, delivering a large-scale, technically complex scheme with a strong emphasis on quality, programme, and overall project performance.

The Opportunity
You will take responsibility for the mechanical delivery of a flagship commercial project, managing the scheme from pre-construction through to completion. Working alongside an experienced and supportive team, you'll play a key role in ensuring successful delivery across all aspects of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage mechanical packages from pre-construction through to handover

  • Coordinate design, commercial, and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery

  • Drive programme, quality, and commercial performance

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

  • Support and lead project teams where required

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager on medium to large-scale projects

  • Background within Tier 1 or well-established MEP contractors

  • Experience delivering commercial projects (essential)

  • Strong technical and project management capability

  • A proactive and professional approach with leadership potential
