Press Brake Operator
Pure Staff are currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our client and support their growing manufacturing operations. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long‑term temp to perm position with a well‑established engineering and fabrication business.
The role requires an experienced and confident operator with strong press brake setting and fabrication skills.
Your Role as a Press Brake Operator
- Set up and operate press brake machinery safely and accurately
- Bend and form sheet metal components to engineering specifications
- Support additional fabrication processes where required
- Work to high-quality standards in line with company expectations
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Read and work from engineering drawings and tolerances
Requirements
- Proven experience in press brake setting and operating
- Comfortable working in a subcontract manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Willingness to learn new machinery, tools and software
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
- Reliable, punctual and self‑motivated
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high‑quality work
- A good communicator and strong team player
Pay & Shifts
£14.00 - £14.50 per hour (pay dependent on experience and performance at interview)
- Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:00
- Friday 07:30 - 12:30
