Logistics Operative - AFC Band 2
Shift pattern –37.5 hours per week, 06:00 – 22:00, Monday to Sunday

North Bristol NHS Trust are seeking to appoint a Logistics Operative to join the Logistics Team. Working predominantly on your feet in a busy linen room enviroment, you would be be responsible for ensuring staff across the Trust receive their uniforms:


• Ordering and management of linen stock in all areas managed by the Linen service
• Processing uniform orders for all Trust new starters
• Loading and dispatching of the Automated Guided vehicles (AGV)
• Receipting and delivering of goods in both the R&D department
• Working in a supportive capacity within the Logistics services

Applicants will need to be well organised, have the ability to use their own initiative and work within agreed guidelines. Good numerical skills and attention to detail will also be required. Experience of working in a supply chain role would be desirable, but not essential.
Applicants must be computer literate, with a decent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook as email will be frequently relied upon. We are a customer focused team, therefore good communication skills are required, as well as a strong team ethic.
