Crynodeb
This role will be responsible for carrying out the full vehicle handover, answering any customer queries, and training the customer on the digital services available.
If you hold a Class 1 licence, have great interpersonal skills and are interested in pursuing a career within truck sales, this is a fantastic role to start that journey and immerse yourself in the dynamic world of commercial vehicle sales.
Package Details:
• £30,000 per annum
• Based out of Knowsley Truck centre and Skelmersdale PDI centre, with frequent travel to customer sites across the UK
• 40 hours per week
• Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00 with the requirement to be flexible to business needs
• 23 days’ holiday each year, plus bank holidays
• Permanent
Role Responsibilities:
• Carry out a full vehicle handover to the customer at the agreed point of delivery, explaining the key specifications of the vehicle and answering any queries
• Safely and efficiently drive company vehicles to designated locations across the UK
• Ensure vehicles and any accompanying documentation are prepared for delivery
• Liaise with the Sales team and PDI centre regarding the scheduling of vehicle deliveries and subsequent communication with customers regarding driver training of all Mercedes-Benz products
• Liaise with customers directly via the associated Sales Consultant to activate Daimler Truck digital services, mainly Truck Live, Fleet Board Telematics, and Repair & Maintenance contracts
• Support the customer with signing up for relevant apps and other technology, and deliver the required training
• Act as the ongoing customer liaison for both training and digital services
• Assist in other business-related tasks related to the movement, delivery, or collection of vehicles when required
• Keep up to date with product knowledge to ensure you can fully support the customer
• Ensure compliance with the Health and Safety Policy and ISO requirements
• Ensure compliance with all Company Policies, in particular the Company Driving and Company Vehicle Policy
The Ideal Candidate:
• Class 1 driving licence (essential)
• Current and valid Driver CPC card
• Experience in a similar role would be advantageous
• An understanding of health and safety practices around HGV’s and in the automotive environment
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong communication skills with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
• Customer orientated and eager to deliver an exceptional customer journey with each interaction
• Self-sufficient and able to prioritise and work independently when required
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, and able to work to business needs with travel across the UK and with occasional overnight stays necessary
• Strong IT skills with the ability to learn new and existing digital products, and confidently demonstrate these to customers
• Organised and ability to ensure vehicles and accompanying documentation are prepared for scheduled handovers
