Job OverviewJob Title: Catering Assistant
Main Duties
To assist with the presentation and preparation of all food and drink whilst ensuring that a high standard of service is delivered to the Trust and Visitors. Ensure that the department is cleaned to the highest standards in line with food hygiene and health and safety regulations.
What we are looking for· To provide exceptional service to all staff and visitors
· Discover customer needs and appropriately suggests product with every customer to enhance service and meet sales goals
· Demonstrates the can do attitude by taking care of customer needs
· To prepare the dining area which may include moving and setting up furniture, setting up and moving trolleys and the cleaning
· To prepare the service area with the necessary service equipment, crockery, serving utensils, condiments food etc. as directed.
· To assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages as directed by the catering team
· To wash dishes, cutlery, tumblers, jugs, serving utensils, serving dishes, containers, tables, and all other catering equipment
· To ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the unit at all times as is reasonably practical.
