£36,501–£43,654 per annum, dependent on experience


City College Norwich is seeking an experienced People Partner to join our busy HR team. The post is based at our central Norwich campus and supports all College sites. This role provides high level technical advice to managers on a broad range of workforce matters and leads on designated areas of HR activity.

Applicants must hold CIPD Level 5 (as a minimum) and current Chartered Membership. You will have recent experience managing a varied and complex HR caseload, alongside up to date knowledge of employment legislation. Experience within the public sector and familiarity with integrated HR and Payroll systems such as iTrent MHR would be advantageous.

As a College we are required to undertake various Safer Recruitment checks as set out within the guidance from the Department for Education Keeping Child Safe in Education. We require all staff to undertake an enhanced Adult and Child Workforce DBS Check and to register with the DBS Update Service. Please note: From 28 November 2020 the government implemented changes to the filtering rules, and we have been instructed that we cannot accept any update service checks on DBS certificates that have been issued before this date. Therefore, a new one must be completed with City College Norwich.
