Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
- Diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently using diagnostic equipment
- Conduct routine servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards
- Inspect vehicles for wear, tear, and faults, reporting findings accurately
- Complete vehicle repairs and maintenance scheduled work
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and adhere to safety and DVSA standards
- Provide exceptional customer service and explain technical issues clearly to clients
- Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Support continuous improvement and training initiatives within the workshop
Requirements:
- Level 3 Qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealer or independent garage
- Strong diagnostic skills and familiarity with modern vehicle systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Own set of tools
- Commitment to delivering high-quality service and technical excellence
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
