Our client, a well-established independent garage in Edenbridge, is seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated team.

The successful Vehicle Technician will become a vital part of a family-run service and MOT centre, recognised for delivering honest workmanship, building long-term customer relationships, and maintaining high standards of quality.

- Access to Bosch training programmes for MOT and technician accreditation
- Monday to Friday working hours, from 8:30am to 5pm, with 30-minute breaks

- Clear progression pathways into MOT testing and certification
Duties of the Vehicle Technician role include:
- Performing routine vehicle servicing and preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
- Conducting detailed vehicle inspections and fault diagnosis
- Assisting with repairs on light commercial vehicles such as transits and tippers
- Supporting team members with general garage duties and workshop responsibilities
- Maintaining high standards of work within a busy workshop environment
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician position:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification, or equivalent, preferred
- Relevant experience or time-served technician applications encouraged
- Enthusiastic attitude with a proactive approach to work
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Flexibility and adaptability to different vehicle servicing needs
- Willingness to undertake Bosch training and certification, including MOT qualifications if applicable
- Previous experience working on a variety of vehicle types is desirable
