Our client, a reputable national fleet rental company, is seeking a Skilled Mobile Vehicle Technician to join their team in Milton Keynes.
The Mobile Vehicle Technician role offers a fantastic chance for experienced motor trade professionals to work in a dynamic, mobile environment with a recognised employer dedicated to career development and ongoing training. As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, your expertise will be crucial in maintaining fleet reliability and delivering exceptional service.
Benefits:
- Basic salary of £38,760 with a performance-based bonus, OTE approximately £43,000
- Monday to Friday working hours, 42.5 hours weekly
- One Saturday in four paid at time and a half
- 23 days holiday plus bank holidays; your birthday off

Duties:
- You will carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on light commercial vehicles at customer sites
- Conduct diagnostic testing and fault finding as a Mobile Vehicle Technician to resolve vehicle issues efficiently
- Utilise advanced diagnostic equipment installed in your company van
- Complete work to manufacturer standards, ensuring quality and compliance
- Plan daily workload effectively, with jobs scheduled five days in advance
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed
- Provide excellent customer service and technical assistance on-site
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician with a solid workshop background suitable for a Mobile Vehicle Technician position
- Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification preferred
- Experience working on light commercial vehicles is advantageous but not essential
- Prior mobile technician experience is beneficial but not mandatory
