We have an amazing opportunity for a HR Administrator to join our caring and support team at our Hothfield Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Neurological Care Centre, our specialist centre in Kent, we look after adults with a brain injury or other neurological condition.
Set within the 12 acre grounds of a manor house, we specialise in intensive rehabilitation for people in the early stages of recovery from a brain injury right through to residential care.
About the role:
With the support of the Residential Central HR Team provide a comprehensive HR administration support to all managers and colleagues.
This role has dotted line management line to Senior People Advisor
`What you'll be working:
- Full time
- 37.5 hours per week
- Working Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm
- Reporting to: Hospital Director
- Location: Hothfield, Kent (Site based role)
- Salary: £27,805.25
What you'll be doing:
Some of the key roles and responsibilities are:
- Provide confidential administration support and ensure the HR system is kept updated.
- Ensure all compliance checks are completed in a timely manner and any issues are raised with the Registered Manager and the relevant regional HR Advisor with immediate effect.
- Provide accurate minutes for disciplinary/grievance and investigation meetings. To provide minutes for other managers who use the services' facilities for disciplinary meetings.
- Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of all documentation relating to colleague holidays, sickness, and absence. Provide regular information to Registered Manager and other relevant line managers on colleague sickness, in accordance with Company Policy.
- Under the guidance of the Registered Manager, arrange colleague meetings on an individual or group basis in accordance with Company Policy.
- To be responsible for assisting with the recruitment procedures including liaison with the central talent acquisition and onboarding teams to ensure adverts are posted, short-listing takes place in a timely manner, interviews arranged, and offers are sent.
- Make sure colleagues are aware of the mechanisms for speaking up in ACG and act where required.
- Maintain their own training compliance with and ensure they are up to date with regulatory standards.
- Adherence to all Group policies and procedures and ensuring that all colleagues in the service are aware of and understand company policies.
What you'll have:
Requirement:
- Experience within an administrative role.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Adaptable and flexible approach to tasks.
- Computer literate with good Microsoft Word knowledge.
- Independent, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal direct supervision.
This is a fast paced and varied role. You will need to be someone who can adapt to people and situations.
