The Opportunity:
A postdoctoral position is available in Adele Marston’s lab in the Centre for Cell Biology, University of Edinburgh. The Marston lab investigates fundamental mechanisms of chromosome segregation in mitosis and meiosis. The successful candidate will work on a project to understanding the functional organisation of S. pombe centromeres.
Skills and attributes for success:
Experience working with S. pombe genetics.
Experience in the field of mitosis or meiosis.
Evidence of the ability to generate publication-quality research in the cell biology field.
This post is full-time. The post is laboratory based and requires on-campus working.
