Your new company
You'll be joining a respected, values-driven housing provider with a strong focus on long‑term financial strength, asset optimisation, and community impact. The organisation offers a modern, collaborative working environment and plays a critical role in delivering safe, sustainable homes through robust financial and treasury management. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, based in Oldham, operating on a hybrid model (3 days office, 2 days remote). With a high performing Treasury function and a strategic programme of charging and refinancing activity underway, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to influence key decisions and contribute to the organisation's long‑term financial strategy.

Your new role
As a Treasury Loan Security Analyst, you will operate as a senior specialist supporting the Head of Treasury across a range of strategically significant loan security and asset charging projects. You will take ownership of critical workstreams that underpin the organisation's borrowing capacity, security headroom, and overall financial resilience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading on security management and reporting across the Group, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and governance.
• Delivering essential components of the Group's charging programme, working closely with lenders, valuers, solicitors, and internal departments.
• Providing expert legal guidance on restrictions affecting charged and uncharged properties, including title issues, conveyancing matters, and due‑diligence requirements.
• Supporting the ongoing disposal and monitoring of charged assets, assessing implications for loan covenants and lender agreements.
• Ensuring the organisation maintains sufficient secured loan headroom and a strong supply of unencumbered assets ready for future charging.
• Assisting the Loan Compliance Officer with valuations, compliance checks, and high‑level reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
• Acting as a key point of coordination across professional advisers and internal teams to deliver treasury and asset‑security projects on time and to an exceptional standard.
• This role is ideal for a senior candidate with strong legal technical expertise who wants to work at the intersection of treasury, asset management, financial security, and strategic project delivery.

What you'll need to succeed

• Demonstrable experience in loan security management.
• Experience handling loan security valuations and working with external valuers.
• Strong project management experience, ideally across complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
• Extensive understanding of the legal conveyancing process, property title issues, and legal due‑diligence requirements.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
• Good working knowledge of Excel.

Desirable
Prior experience working within a housing association or public sector organisation.
Professional legal qualification, such as the LPC.

Qualifications
Law Degree educated
