Primary Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide essential support to clients within their own homes. Key duties include:
• Personal Care & Support: Assisting with daily living tasks such as washing, dressing, toileting, and meal preparation.
• Welfare & Safeguarding: Ensuring the safety of vulnerable individuals, providing emotional support, and facilitating access to necessary accommodations or independent living options.
• Independence & Dignity: Promoting client autonomy and ensuring all care is delivered with the utmost respect.
• Communication: Maintaining clear, professional dialogue with clients, families, and the wider care team.
• Mobility: Efficiently traveling between client residences within the local Leytonstone area.
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
• A solid background in a care setting (domiciliary or similar) is essential but nut not compulsory
• A compassionate, kind, and patient approach to caregiving.
• Strong active listening and interpersonal communication skills.
• Availability to work either day or night shifts on a temporary basis.
• Ability to provide professional references and a willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
