Are you a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new role?
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a specialist SEN provision inside a mainstream primary school. This hub supports children who require a more tailored timetable, with small class sizes of approximately 8 pupils, ensuring each child receives focused, personalised support.

The Candidate
- Must have experience working with children with additional needs
- Must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)
- Confident supporting pupils with a range of SEN
- Experience within mainstream or SEN settings is highly desirable
- Ability to follow tailored learning plans and work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
Core Aims of the Role
- Support pupils with varying additional needs, both academically and emotionally
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning
- Assist in delivering tailored activities and interventions
- Help promote independence and confidence among pupils
- Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies
