Are you coming to the end of your teacher training placement and wondering what next?
If you're a PE trainee looking for a supportive school to finish the year strong, this could be a great fit.
We're working with a well-established secondary school in the Farnborough area who are looking for a PE Teacher to join them for the summer term.
This role would suit someone who's just completed their final placement and wants a well-supported transition into the classroom, without the pressure of jumping straight into a permanent role.
There's also flexibility here. The school can offer 3 or 4 days per week (not Wednesdays) if that works better for you.
The Role
Start: 13th April
End: 22nd July
Flexible: 3-4 days per week or full-time
You'll be teaching PE across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons and building confidence in students who genuinely enjoy sport.
Why This School?
This is a school that does PE properly.
You'll be joining a department with a strong sporting culture, high student engagement, excellent facilities, and a supportive leadership team who understand early career teachers.
It's the kind of environment where you can focus on your teaching, not just survival.
Who This Is For
Trainee teachers who have completed their final placement
ECTs or qualified PE teachers looking for a short-term role
Someone who wants support, structure, and a positive end to the year
What You'll Get
Paid fairly (to scale for long-term roles)
Ongoing support - not a "drop you in and disappear" approach
A chance to build confidence before September
If you're finishing your training and not quite ready to commit to a permanent role yet, this gives you the space to grow, with the right support around you.
If you'd like to talk it through, feel free to reach out.
