Functional Skills Teacher - English & Science (Permanent, Part-Time, Immediate Start, Swanley)
We are working with a specialist SEN setting in Swanley that provides a structured, supportive environment for pupils with complex needs. The school focuses on building positive relationships, developing independence, and supporting each pupil to access learning in a way that is meaningful to them.
They are seeking a committed Functional Skills Teacher to join their team on a permanent, part-time basis (3 days per week), starting immediately. This role involves delivering Functional Skills English and Science, working closely with pupils on a 1:1 basis, and supporting both academic progress and personal development.
The successful candidate will be confident in planning, delivering and assessing lessons, while maintaining a calm and consistent approach to behaviour management. You will work collaboratively with staff to ensure pupils are supported in line with their individual needs and education plans.
