- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Pay £17.50 per hour
- Shifts:Monday to Thursday 6.45am-2.45pm & 11am to 7pm & Friday 9.30am-5.30pm
Musthave EMS (Electro Muscular Stimulation) qualification and be aQualified Personal Trainer Level 3
Ideally be First Aid Qualified
Use of Gym, restaurant & café onsite
About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and qualified Health & Wellbeing Advisor to join our team at the Shell Centre. You will deliver exceptional health, fitness, and wellbeing services while contributing to a supportive, safe, and customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct health assessments and create personalised programme designs tailored to individual member goals.
- Lead group exercise classes, ensuring a high standard of instruction and engagement.
- Perform general gym floor duties, including cleaning and maintenance of equipment to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
- Manage the onboarding of new joiners, including inductions and providing tailored support during their initial experience.
- Deliver all aspects of the Re:vitalise Services provision.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer queries, including those received via email, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.
- Promote Shell Health promotions, campaigns, and fitness initiatives to increase awareness and engagement.
- Conduct regular site safety walk inspections and uphold compliance with all Health & Safety, COSHH, and Sodexo/Healthworks guidelines.
- Maintain the facilities to a consistently high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Attend team huddles and maintain strong internal communication to ensure smooth operations.
- Support the class schedule, adapting to customer needs and resolving feedback in a positive and solution-focused manner.
- Act as a point of contact for all visitors and any contractors working within the centre.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of local facilities and services in line with Shell Health & Sodexo Healthworks objectives.
- Assist management in reporting monthly data including class attendance, gym usage, and new member inductions.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- EMS (Electro Muscular Stimulation) qualification
- Level 2 & 3 Qualified Personal Trainer
- First Aid qualified
- Experience in delivering health & wellbeing services
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer literacy
Desirable:
- Background in promoting wellbeing campaigns or similar initiatives
- Enthusiasm for supporting wider health and sustainability initiatives such as Sodexo’s Better Tomorrow Plan
