SEN Teaching Assistant
Our School
Chilworth C of E Infant and Nursery School is a popular and well-resourced one-form entry school in the heart of Chilworth village, just outside Guildford. We are privileged to be in an area of outstanding beauty and our school is set in extensive grounds. We have a strong commitment to providing all pupils with regular access to outdoor learning and forest school opportunities. This is facilitated by having outdoor classroom areas, fabulous hard and soft surfaced play areas, as well as direct access to our surrounding woodlands. We offer outstanding early years and a strong key stage one education for children aged 2 to 7 years. Staff are committed to doing the very best for pupils in our care. Our values of Love, Life and Welcome lie at the heart of all we do. Please do take a look at our school website for more information about us. Visits to the school are very warmly welcomed. Please phone to make an appointment.
The role
We are seeking to appoint a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and dedicated school team.
The successful candidate will start this role in our nursery and offer bespoke support to an SEN child. However, from September 2026 this child will begin Reception class and the successful candidate will move with the child as an SEN TA following the child as they move through all subsequent classes in our school. We envisage this role to be for at least three academic years.
