Join a leading materials company as a Scientist supporting their technical team.
This role exists to help shape, refine and deliver solutions used across UK, with a strong focus on technical performance and customer impact.

What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting to create and test new technical solutions
- Working closely with multiple business functions-innovation, sustainability, digital and portfolio teams-to progress new product development projects
- Ensuring customer needs are clearly understood and embedded into technical decisions and project outcomes
- Helping identify root‑cause issues and applying structured technical processes to answer key project questions
- Contributing to continuous improvement in safety standards and championing safe working practices
- Engaging directly with customers and maintaining clear, supportive communication throughout each project
- Travelling to customer sites around the UK when required
What We're Looking For
- Degree in a science, engineering or related discipline
- Previous experience applying scientific or technical principles within projects
- Confident communicator who can explain technical points clearly and factually
- Organised, delivery‑focused and able to manage multiple tasks with high accuracy
- Commitment to excellent safety behaviours
- Full UK travel flexibility when needed
