The role:
Responsible for performing all stock movements in the warehouse, including Bulk Order picking, Replenishment of stock to picking areas, internal stock movements, stock checks, returns putaway and Goods In. Responsible for following prescribed ways of working to a high level of accuracy and compliance
What you’ll do:
Attend the daily team briefing to obtain your tasks and priorities.
Carry out pre-shift safety checks on Fork Lift Truck (FLT) equipment and ensure safe operation at all times.
Unload and check incoming goods, record dimensions/pack sizes, receipts and discrepancies, and put away stock to the correct locations
Execute replenishment tasks exactly as instructed and accurately record stock movements
Locate and place replenished stock to the locations indicated on replenishment sheets.
Complete Bulk Order picking according to picking instructions and customer logistics requirements.
Load trailers in the yard when required.
Carry out stock checks following prescribed processes and reporting requirements.
Process returns and putaway accurately.
Re-box loose items to standard
Remove empty pallets and clear strapping/empty boxes from aisles promptly.
Ensure pallets are safe and standard-compliant; restack/reposition as necessary.
Report all stock discrepancies and damaged stock to Admin and Stock Control following agreed processes.
Take instruction from Managers and Team Leaders, work unsupervised when required, and adapt to changing operational demands.
You have :
Counterbalance and Reach Truck licence - Essential
Previous experience of warehouse work
Knowledge of health and safety guidelines
Ability to work unsupervised.
Works consistently and accurately to the required operational KPI’s.
Role requires manual handling of stock and boxes.
Be flexible to adapt to changes in the operational demands.
To demonstrate an ability to ensure accuracy and attention to detail.
