Our apprenticeship programme gives you hands-on experience while you learn — working alongside a supportive team and gaining
practical skills across all areas of the branch.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Branch Apprentice, you'll get involved in a wide range of tasks, including:
* Face-to-face customer service and support at the Trade Counter
* Helping with the distribution of building materials to customers and delivery vehicles
* Supporting stock control and warehouse tasks
* Assisting with goods in/out and keeping the yard clean and organised
* Helping to raise quotes and process orders
* Learning how to safely operate tools and machinery (including forklifts)
* Supporting with office admin and answering incoming calls
* Shadowing team members to understand how each part of the branch contributes
This is a great opportunity to gain experience across the business — from the yard to the trade counter — and discover where your
strengths and interests lie.
Please note – due to insurance requirements, you must be 18 years or older to apply for this apprenticeship.
Salary range: £17667 - £28571 per annum
Hours: 7am-5pm Mon-Fri
Holiday: 20 days per year plus Bank Holidays
Benefits: Discretionary bonus scheme

* Someone hardworking, reliable, and eager to learn
* A friendly communicator who’s comfortable engaging with customers
* A team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
* Safety-conscious and respectful of others
* Committed to building a long-term career in the builders’ merchant industry
You don’t need previous experience — just the right attitude and a strong work ethic.
