About the Role
Unique Support & Care Recruitment is delighted to be supporting Westlake Carers Ltd in their search for compassionate, reliable and dedicated Female Domiciliary Care Staff to join their growing team in Egham.
This is an exciting opportunity for carers who want to make a genuine difference in people’s lives while working with a supportive organisation that prioritises quality, continuity of care, and respect for both staff and service users.
You will be supporting individuals in their own homes across the local community, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and comfort. The role offers flexible, ongoing temporary work with the potential to become permanent for those who demonstrate commitment and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will:
Provide care and support in clients’ homes, following personalised care plans
Assist with personal care, washing, dressing and grooming
Support clients with medication prompts, meal preparation and hydration
Help maintain a safe, clean and comfortable home environment
Offer warm companionship, reassurance and emotional support
Support with shopping, errands and community access
Promote independence while ensuring safety and wellbeing
Travel between client homes using your own vehicle
Maintain accurate notes and communicate clearly with the care team
What We Are Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Essential
Female carer (due to specific care needs)
Full UK driving licence
Access to your own car
Experience in domiciliary care, assisted living, or community-based care
A caring, patient and reliable nature
Right to work in the UK
Willingness to travel throughout Egham and surrounding areas
Ability to start as soon as possible
Desirable
Experience in live‑in care
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
Existing Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
Willingness to work towards long‑term, permanent employment
