Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Salford)

TeacherActive is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Salford, who are seeking a qualified Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.

The Role:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons

  
  

• Working with small groups and on a one-to-one basis to support pupil progress

  
  

• Assisting with classroom management and promoting positive behaviour

  
  

• Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including SEND where required

  
  

• Helping to create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment

    The Ideal Candidate Will:

    • Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, Teaching Assistant, or Childcare

      
      

    • Have recent experience working in a UK primary school setting

      
      

    • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills

      
      

    • Be proactive, adaptable and able to work as part of a team

      
      

    • Have a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
