• Ensuring the Trust Board has appropriate assurances that the requirements of current fire safety legislation are met across the Trust and, where appropriate, that the objectives of Firecode are achieved.
• Co-ordinating fire safety issues throughout the organisation’s activities.
• Overseeing day-to-day implementation of the fire safety policies.
• Ensuring all major Capital schemes inclusive of new construction and renovation works taking place across the Trust, , are compliant with Building Regulations and HTM Guidance with regards to fire safety.
· To fulfill the role and the activities of the named person in Service Level Agreements currently or in the future provided by the Trust regarding provision of fire safety support services.
· Support an already established Capital team with the managing of fire safety.
· Provide Professional guidance to ensure the trust meets compliance on all fire safety related topics
· Provide direct line management to the fire safety advisor and any outsourced training facilitators / external contractors
