We’re looking for a Fee Costing & Business Development Analyst to join our team and play a key role in strengthening our commercial approach and supporting sustainable service delivery. This is a 12 month fixed term contract working on a hybrid basis with 2-3 days per week from our office in Selly Oak.
This is a varied and impactful role where you’ll work closely with colleagues across Finance, Operations and Commercial teams to develop costing models, analyse contracts, and provide the insight needed to support fee negotiations and business growth.
You’ll also support tender activity and help identify opportunities where Sense can expand or enhance its services, making a real difference to the people we support.
What you’ll be doing
Developing and applying costing models to support fee uplifts and contract negotiations.
Analysing financial and contractual data to provide clear, evidence-based insights.
Supporting tender opportunities, from research through to submission.
Building strong relationships with commissioners and external partners.
Supporting commercial reporting through dashboards, trackers and data analysis.
Monitoring contract performance and identifying risks and opportunities.
Ensuring compliance through accurate record-keeping and audit trails.
Collaborating with internal teams to align on commercial and financial decisions.
What we’re looking for
Strong analytical skills and confidence working with financial and/or contractual data.
Experience working with contracts, costing or commercial analysis.
Understanding of social care or public sector commissioning (desirable).
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to translate complex information into clear, accessible insight.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Confident using Excel and other digital tools.
